Rimping Village : Great hotel with great service

Exterior View

The hotel is great, away from the old town. In a few minutes you can reach everything with tuk tuk or bicycle. The bikes are free! Moreover, the hotel also has a parking for the rental car.

The hotel staff are all very nice, helpful and give you tips. One evening we were with our own car to the Saturday Night Market driven (for the same money what a tuk tuk cost). However, the market was so crowded that you could barely walk. We have then set to one of the stalls in the market and ate delicious food opposite for little money.

The room was very clean, good-very hard bed. Front of the room with chairs and table, so that you can also sit outside. The pool area is very nice, unfortunately, many chairs in the shade, which is almost a bit fresh in the afternoon just in December.
Breakfast was great.

Around the corner is a huge supermarket and a massage parlor.

I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

Dream beach in Koh Samet

Sai Kaew Beach Resort
Located on the main beach of Koh Samet. You can book different types of rooms. We had a cottage. This was right on the beach and very spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and will help at any time. On the beach are some bars that also offer evening shows. We recommend the Ploy bar with fire show. The hotel breakfast is very tasty and has everything to offer. Wi-Fi is free and the chairs on the beach also included. For a beach holiday this is the perfect accommodation. But not a luxury. The hotel has only three stars. Nevertheless, I would come here again.

Hotel Monteleone: great location

Hotel Monteleone

This hotel has an unstudied, not stiff elegance. In harmony with its location As other reviewers have said, it is in the French Quarter on Rue Royal, one block from Bourbon Street. We heard no drunken revelers in the streets of our room, but we could hear faint music of the calliope Riverboat from time to time (but not during normal sleep). The concierge and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms may be small in comparison with some seemed modern hotel room, but they are not too small for the era and the style of the hotel. If space is what you bring to bear in this hotel caution, the huge Marriott or the Sheraton could close more your cup of tea.

My sister and I stayed for 5 nights in a room with two double beds in the 14th Stock. We have a wonderful view of the river. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, a large bedside table, desk and chair and an armchair. The wardrobe was equipped with a TV, drawers, a safe, a cube fridge and a bucket with ice and glasses. In the closet, there was a real hanger (wood, standard hook), two plush bathrobes and two folding luggage rack. There was also a neat coffee maker in the room (and real 800 & 800, not powder), so we have good coffee in the morning.

The bathroom was small, but perfectly adequate for two women and all our marine equipment, although it would be desirable with an extra shelf under the sink. Hairdryer - a real, was not normal whiny Eumelus device also attached to the wall - hung in a velveteen bag on the bathroom door. Shower rod was one of those bent, so that the shower is not as close as it sometimes not. I wanted that. Towels here, but that was fixed with a call to the housekeeping

Carousel Bar is a novelty - at least for me. Unlike the revolving doors of restaurants with a view, it is the only bar I know that you simply order the bartender. We'd never look at a place on carousel itself, but we have very comfortable leather chairs wing chairs along the windows on the Rue Royale. A second bar at the back of the room looked comfortable, too. The advantage is that when the room begins to spin there, you can be sure, drunk your fault instead of the ground beneath you.

I usually avoid hotel restaurant food, especially in such a great city like New Orleans to eat. It does not take away from the food in the restaurant in the Monteleone restrained. Neither my sister and I felt like we were on a great meal had missed something when we ate dinner there one night. The breakfast was excellent, unreliable cookies, delicious coffee, perfect eggs. My side dish of porridge was the best I ever had. Who knew one cereal, sharpen slightly raised?

I have been in top 5 hotels in / near the French Quarter. I hope I have the opportunity to stay at the Monteleone again.

ARIA Resort & Casino: Unbelievable!

entrance with a waterfall

Who wants to experience luxury is certainly in good hands. It starts with the fact that one has not even open the car door even when you pull up with a rental car. The rental car disappears against a small fee in the garage. The luggage is moved discreetly into the lobby and at the reception there is her best "work off" the flood of Hotel guest. That was really the only one where you could say: oh well! The staff could certainly be a little more in this area.

the way to the room can get very far. The hotel is big, no it is very large. Well remember with what lift you have to go up to what level. You can get lost for real. Really. And then the room. Obliged the room opens to the magnetic card. You enter the room, the lights go on, the curtain rises, the lights will slowly dim again, the air conditioning goes on quietly, the TV comes on and welcomes the guest, and then view the madness ........ !

The beds were the best places I've ever slept on.

The breakfast is excellent. Whether choice, quality, diversity, etc. However, the atmosphere in our view is quite sterile.
Oh, and if you want to have your rental car, simply go to the black-robed men, drop off your list and wait in the air-conditioned lounge. After the latest 5 minutes they are back in your air-conditioned vehicle.

By the way: You do not close the door to.

Hotel del Coronado: Great location, best rooms, best service

Front of Hotel del Coronado

We chose the Del to the end of our vacation and traveled to California with fairly high expectations.

Even at a very early check-in we were pleasantly surprised: at 12:00 already had a room ready and it was a free upgrade. The service was attentive but not intrusive later. The restaurants for dinner met expectations, and I would prefer the ocean, since the dishes are a bit more interesting and the ambiance somewhat dignified - but not overly nice - is.

The music offering in the bar was good (almost every night some different performers). A small minus, you can give your morning breakfast buffet, which was correct, but that's in California or Hawaii considerably larger.

The oft-cited maneuver the Navy did not bother us, it was really not much (about 2-3 Jets a day) plus some smaller planes.

Overall, a fully recommended hotel which has preserved despite the size of the charm and has implemented the following modernity well.

The New Yorker Hotel: Recommendation!

The entrance

The building in which the hotel is home to The New Yorker, dates from 1931. Worthwhile, therefore, is also a look at the history of the house. The rooms (we stayed on the 24th floor) have been recently renovated, all of the charming Art Deco-design the early days, but a modern interpretation. The room (1 queen size bed) was as usual in all hotels in the city is very small, but it was enough, because you spent the whole day on the road anyway. Therefore advisable to book a room with two beds, because you win a few square meters of space. Clean rooms, on request, the sheets are changed daily. Towels automatically every day. We were lucky and got a room with a view of the Empire State Building (morning and night a great sight, ask for a "view room", a bit more expensive). Rooms have modern air conditioning, unfortunately - and therefore small point deduction - the bathroom had no heating. This could be very unpleasant in cold days. The bathroom was not as tip-top facilities in the (very tired) as the bedroom. The hotel has nearly 1,000 rooms, so it is a constant coming and going. Did not bother.

The location has many advantages: subway stations right outside the house building (with the lines that lead to the main attractions), a few minutes walk to Times Square with all musical theaters, at Macy's and the Empire State . In the neighborhood of many fast food places. The area is safe (8th Avenue at 34th Street), you can walk around in the evening without any problems. Also important: the Airport Express bus stops on the street corner in front of the hotel. Pleasant: the elevators in the hotel lobby is only allowed through, who can show a card room. We had breakfast in the hotel belonging to Tick Tock Diner (a la carte), comfortable, very good and affordable. On departure you can leave the luggage store. The hotel provides shuttle to the airport, the Newark Airport, it costs $ 30 a person. Check out time is 12 noon clock, if you ask, you can keep no extra charge up to 14 clock the room.

We were only three days in the city that never really asleep, and had the good location a big time advantage.

Soho Grand Hotel: Great hotel, great location.

Outside of the Front Entrance

I stayed for 10 days with my partner. 7th Floor Superior room overlooking the Soho Mews. Quite quiet rooms. The hotel has a great dark atmosphere, but very stylish. Front desk service was great during all of my interactions with them. Help welcoming and very attentive and ready. Was a glass of bubbles on one occasion offered, while I waited to happen for a couple of copies in the office.

- The bar is relaxed, cool, but not pretentious.
- The location is fantastic - so close to everything in Soho, as well as a short taxi ride from the Meatpacking District, Village, TriBeCa
- Loved the free Christmas wrapping service. We have not used it, but a nice touch.

The rooms were big enough, flat-screen TV and a very comfortable bed, plenty of room to hang his clothes and hangers. The bathroom was small, but very well laid out with all the amenities. They offered Kiehls shampoo, conditioner, detergent, body lotion, etc. The shower was great ... high pressure and fast to warm up!

many times in New York and I will always be here now provided further price appropriately. We found this hotel!

The Bryant Park Hotel: It is almost impossible

Main Entrance
The Bryant Park leaves virtually nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly, polite and courteous. Room service is excellent and you will receive every evening with chocolates, soft music and dimmed lights in his room. The room itself is (Superior) and pleasantly modern Scandinavian furnishings simply what works compared to "normal" American Hotel very comfortable and high quality. In addition, there is a large flat-screen TV and an iPhone dock with stereo. Primarily as a couple you feel by some nice romantic accessories and the big tub well. The location speaks for itself. Overall I would recommend this to anyone without reservation.

The Edgewater Hotel Seattle: beautiful Experience

Fireplace at the front of the hotel

The water - Beatles here in the 60th The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean, but a little small (it was not a problem) - the bed was fantastic, there was no feather pillows alternative - bathroom was beautiful - bath / shower products perfect - fluffy bathrobes. Small balcony with views of the harbor - on Friday watched a cruise ship docked next door! On the other side of the hotel is only a short distance away, the Victoria Clipper dock where we took the ferry to Victoria on Saturday. The location was perfect for us.

The restaurant food was delicious with a good selection of local fare - elegant in a casual setting overlooking the water. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Alcoholic drinks were generous and offered a wide selection of alcohol. The operation well trained, friendly and knowledgeable.

The lounge was comfortable on Tuesday when we arrived, but during the week it was busier and louder.

Seattle was very pedestrian-friendly, and we found we had a car is not necessary (the parking was $ 33/night) - we have in our rental car after the first day. What a holiday - do not take the car. Took the ferry to Victoria, BC and then. Bus / ferry to Vancouver, BC, three blocks from the hotel

There was a free bus stopped right outside the door of Edgewater, ran along the water, the older part of the city. Most of the city by public transport Pike's market for football and baseball stadiums) was free during the day.

Bayview Hotel Langkawi: Great location and value for money + very good service!

Bayview Hotel
I am for 3 days and 2 nights on last week ... I love this place because ... for the excellent service and variety of food menu for breakfast For me this is a good choice for those who like chocolate and other shopping ...

I've paid for ... Hill prospect, but one of the staff for my room overlooking the sea Upgrade I'm really happy because I here is my bonus ... ! I also make my own choice, if I double bed for single bed or double bed size preference.

First World Hotel: My first experience of the world

The hotel
We had a wonderful stay at First World Hotel 2n to 4-6Nov12. Although the first Night view of my clouded clouds covered, it could gradually show some other scenic views of the time and during the night continued, released as the view is clear and! We were on the 4th Stock, but for me, the view, just great! The service is fast and efficient, with friendly customer service, answering my questions with patience.

It was quite busy during login, but our wait time was pretty fast! Keep it up! The rooms are clean and well maintained. Toilet was clean and every need it. Besides, I wonder why did the First World there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. Anyway, everything was neatly folded like towels and soap are clear. There are hair dryer!

And safe deposit box! Once we checked in, you can reach our room, the person in charge to reset the password and came into our locker lead us how to use it.

No air conditioning because of the very very cool temperature! But that's great! very environmentally friendly! There are fan to maximum speed of 5! n we use only to 1, and even in it. to 1n =)

Changi Village Hotel by Far East Hospitality: Relax before the flight

Exterior View
On our return flight from Bali to Frankfurt, we have inserted a day off. The hotel is located 15 minutes from the airport. We had booked a room in the club area and thus access to the Club Lounge. Between 18 and 20 clock hot and cold snacks (really good) and alcoholic beverages. Here also the breakfast (included in the price) is served in a relaxed atmosphere.
Very nice pool on the roof, from which comes from the sea. Flights to Germany since the late evening walk, we made use of the possibility to have the room until the evening. (Price and duration can check-in at the reception desk will be identified) Further information can be previously requested via email, we received quick and detailed answer The free shuttle bus goes every hour to the terminals I and II

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore: Good location, friendly service

Super nice hotel
We were for the first time in Fullerton. It was very nice. We booked a room with a view of Marina Sands and were rewarded with a great view. Especially at night, when the Marina Sands Hotel gets going with the laser show. The view to the other side (boat clark) is also nice, you can enjoy the view over the skyscrapers. A Courtyard Zummer would be with. Boring, because the courtyard is the hotel lobby. The pool is ok on the size of her, and here we have a nice view of the boat clark and the banks. The breakfast is very rich. The service is very friendly, all the staff concerned and to help make your stay enjoyable. It runs for a few minutes next to metro station can, in the evening on the boat at the old harbor and clark go along. I once stayed in a hotel on the orchard Road. Since the rooms were a lot bigger (in Fullerton are quite small), but this view has not and can not so nice evening stroll along the shore. I can really recommend the Fullerton. When would put a few chairs on the balcony, it would be perfect.

Amazing Hotel

Legian Beach Hotel: Here I feel at home

We have booked the Legian Beach as a starting point for our 2-week Bali trip. The described and predicted construction noise was never excessive or distracting. The modifications to the restaurant are still in full swing, but do not affect the wonderful atmosphere while eating (live music with classic Balinese Xyolphon) As compensation we could eat at the buffet for free on Saturday including a traditional dance performance. This was rich, but not comparable to the excellent meal at the restaurant on the terrace. The breakfast buffet offers and also in the first floor a pancake bar, where you will find everything for the sweet breakfast heart! A real highlight!! Otherwise, the buffet is very diverse, offering both to the west and Indonesian dishes.
The garden bungalow was booked on a beach bungalow geupgraded because bottlenecks, with the "beach" is a bit exaggerated. There are no bungalows on the beach but they are the next level. The rooms are top (flat, AC, great bathroom, safe) The beach is however accessible within 40m. Super clean, great sea with light to moderate waves and bright beach have made us arrive the first 3 days properly. Lie must be paid (necessarily act! Have on the first day for the whole day still paid € 100k ~ 8), then you have a nice stretch of beach but provides owners of drinks, nuts and water service! The 2 pools are clean and have umbrellas. The pool bar at the pool side is a nice addition. Rates correspond to Western standards, but have to cope with.
As funny attraction daily squirrel feeding time is from 10-11 clock on a big tree.

BEST WESTERN Atlantis Hotel: A very modern and comfortable hotel

It was the first time for three days visit me at this hotel. The hotel is in a privileged location at the Southern Cross Station (Airport Express Bus Terminal). In addition, a short walk from the hotel is a tram stop for city or Docklands trips. The trams run right outside the hotel, and just around the corner, you can take the free City Circle Tram.
Most of all I could check in surprisingly early in the morning without bothering or circumstances. (the fate of the early morning flights covered in each city). I also found that all the staff at the reception was very friendly and accommodating. There is absolutely no exception.
I had. A very high standard rooms with views of the city, which I then assigned the most That made for absolute quiet but oddly enough I agree it was difficult to enjoy the view. The external window apparently was not made for a very long time and were strongly full of dirt residue. Maybe a small blemish was deserves attention but soon, even though the room. Yourself comfortable and spotless
Coincidentally, there is a very nice Italian restaurant, which was located next to the hotel you do not want to go very far into the city.
I will definitely be looking to stay at the Atlantis.

Patong Beach Hotel: good hotel in a great location

Hotel Entrance
Purely external, the hotel is a bit long in the tooth, the 10-story main building startled at first sight from something! Right and left of the main building are respectively the 2-story wing, the Garden Wing and the Siam Wing! The rooms at the Siam Wing, in 2009 completely renovated bathroom with freestanding bathtub with a glass wall to the living room, separate wc with retractable lid, glass wall to the living room, new beds, flat screen TV etc. Rooms from Siam Wing, overlooking the garden and pool are the most beautiful, as the palm trees in front of the balcony! The hotel's location is perfect for shopping and beach freaks! One has only the access road along and you're on the public Patong Beach! For people who are looking for some peace, but there is nothing there! In the surrounding area there are many restaurants and shopping stalls, and the Banana Disco is right next to the hotel entrance! The pool is big, hot tub is also included! The hotel has 3 restaurants yet, Thai, Seafood & Grill, Italian

The Menzies Sydney: Central and comfortable

large hotel exterior
We have previously Menzies used on our trips to Sydney, both personal and business reasons. In general we found the quality of the hotel is excellent and made our stay. Conveniently located near public transportation and walking distance to shops and the harbor, we have always believed that the hotel met our expectations.

The service is very good. The rooms are more than adequate and kept very well maintained.

We use the gym and the pool and we both also very convenient and well maintained. Watch for small children (unsupervised) in the fitness room with equipment and to not understand what they are doing and are in danger. I recommend the restaurants have more offers, or possibly even his food issues most nights to make the restaurants more interesting and attractive.

Grace Hotel Sydney: wonderful stay

Hotel's exterior
Last month I stayed 2 nights here and I enjoyed it, to live in such a historic building. I stayed in room 1013, and from there could see pedestrians on the street. Upon arrival, the formalities were carried out quickly and easily. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is decorated in a nice, warm style and make you feel comfortable. Although the room was rather small, it was enough to sleep. Compared to the room size, the bathroom was quite spacious.

The location of the hotel was the main reason of my choice. It is situated close to Market / George Street, the main shopping center (Queen Victoria Building, Pitt Street, The beach, etc.) and if you like walking, there is a walk of about 8-15 minutes to rock the Rundkai and Darling Harbor . For a quick snack during the day or at night, it is not far to Woolworth's for dairy products or fresh fruit

In addition, the City Hall station or bus stops accessible within a radius of 5 minutes.

Concorde Hotel Singapore: gladly again

Concorde Hotel Lobby
After our first hotel was a disappointment in SIN, we were more than ever to the Concorde Hotel Singapore.
It is very well located on Orchard Road, and made to us from the beginning, a good impression.
The glass elevators look classy, as is the huge, friendly, bright hall.
The check was quick, the room is good, you feel good throughout the hotel.

The biggest selling point for us was the breakfast buffet, which was served in an elegant atmosphere with white leather booths, chairs, tablecloths and under a glass dome Mediterranean.
Really great and versatile:
A complete egg station for all the wishes in this respect,
Sausages, bacon and baked beans,
many Asian and Indian hot dishes, miso soup, etc.
a greater selection of breads, pastries versatile selection of muffins on cake to chocolate croissants,
real juices, fresh tropical fruit,
freshly baked waffles,
a muesli corner, cheeses and cold meats,
Coffee and tea were in later times.

This hotel we have earmarked for our next visit to the same.

The Whitehall Hotel: Charm and class in beautiful area

Exterior View
The Whitehall is well maintained. It is centrally located in the best area of Chicago. All attractions are within walking distance, the nearest metro station (CTA) is around the corner. From O'Hare to get loose out with 1x change and not take longer than a shuttle or taxi. Tea and coffee in the morning to get free in the hotel, are other breakfast options are plentiful in the area. Lake Michigan and
Navy Pier are virtually on the doorstep, just as millions of "shop till you drop" options.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Our rooms and the spacious bathroom were chic, clean and neat. In the hall there is the possibility of free and online check-in at any airline.
All in all, we will gladly return.

Flamingo Hotel by the Beach, Penang: Let's get something straight

hotel exterior
We were in a deluxe room with a sea view in the 9th Floor, which was very reasonably priced. Great views from the balcony and it was very nice that you were sitting on it out there and watch the ocean. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was good, and there is a flat screen TV, safe and free Wi-Fi. The only criticisms are the sofas and work areas could do with a renovation.

Great pool right on the beach. Happy hour is from 17-18 clock at the pool bar, and the bartender Harris is very nice and friendly!

A great international breakfast buffet is included in the price and the cafe serves great food for lunch and dinner. The service is great. The Indian restaurant on the street is cheap and good. If you in the night markets, you can be sure that after you eat in Long Beach -. An amazing street vendor market which is really cheap, what the locals recommend

The staff at the front desk and lobby are very friendly and the tour desk is very helpful. You can get a taxi within 10 minutes for you (which are really cheap and organize the drivers are very nice). The hotel is in a great location between Georgetown and Batu Ferengi. There is a shuttle that both of the airport.

We enjoyed our stay and would like to live in this hotel again.
